How cute. My best suits are orange.

[but he...doesn’t sound amused. No, the voice over this feed doesn’t sound amused at all. Yet as hard and stoic as it sounds, you can sort of hint that he might be smiling. or smirking. Or an uncanny combination of the two. He DID pitch a fit earlier, but that was when no one....was around..and was looking BUT!!...something hard lands next to his phone- it makes a thunk! sound]

A classic, really! I wasn’t counting on many of us -or anyone I knew- to take these missions seriously, but. Aha, did you ever.

[LIKE HE’S ONE TO TALK.]

Either way. I hope you’re happy. [A sigh....and a last sound, a loud rrrrrriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiip--]

[oops is that the sound of TROUBLE IN PARADISE...]

Would you like me to bring back an extra packet of laundry detergent? [by some miracle he manages to keep the tremor of just-about-to-laugh out of his voice.]

Is orange that bad of a color for you to wear?

[NOPE, CAN'T SYMPATHIZE, already had to wash some orange out himself.]

[ Honestly, Meredith needed that little ounce of sleep he could grab. By his standards, he had stayed up aWHILE and he would have admittedly been a little proud of himself for being able to stick around that long had he not realized this was actually.... not any fun at all. He'd conceded and gone home just for the night- for the eight hours of sleep he'd need to keep functioning and only after Elijah had convinced him he would be okay.

Well, Meredith was hardly convinced but he knew he needed to rest himself eventually. And of course, they'd agreed to meet up later, which is where Meredith is headed now. They ARE only two rooms away from each other, but really when did distance ever keep Meredith from worrying about what Elijah might be up to.. And this is hardly their home.

Meredith approaches the door and already hears Elijah talking to... the phone? (To or on-? He.. was honestly still confused about the cell phone functions.) Either way, Meredith decides to wait a moment- that is, until he hears that tear. He starts. ]

Wha- Elijah? [ And a loud knock. ]
