Or an uncanny combination of the two. He DID pitch a fit earlier, but that was when no one....was around..and was looking BUT!!...something hard lands next to his phone- it makes a thunk! sound]

A classic, really! I wasn’t counting on many of us -or anyone I knew- to take these missions seriously, but. Aha, did you ever.

Oddly enough, I found it a little hard to believe that our fellow residents managed to get their hands dirty- quite literally. It just goes to show how out of the loop I am. [not that he...cares.]

Well, I think that's just a part of human nature. A lot of people here probably feel like they're swimming upstream, right? I think the saying 'desperate times call for desperate measures' would be an accurate one to use in this situation.

I'd suggest you keep an eye on the missions sent out in the future. Not everyone is willing to continue taking out loans if they're low on points, and it would really be awful if damaged clothing becomes the least of your worries one day.

Oh, I don't doubt it one bit. [an indirect way of agreeing, but elijah won't lie that everything kudou mentioned was simply truth. if he accounted for the things he had done during his stay here, well...he supposes having his suit dyed was minimal damage.]

Although, I'm sure that doesn't mean you're exempt from taking on the missions yourself, are you?

[there's a little hum of agreement from his end. he could add something about how that sort of desperation is what makes humans so fascinating BUT... well, there's a time and place for every conversation, and it's probably not in the middle of digging through a hygiene bundle for detergent.]

I haven't participated in any since that arcade game challenge, actually. I don't mind having to take loans out. [his motivations are a little skewed, after all. taking a back seat suits him completely fine right now.] I can at least promise that I won't be leaving you with any other orange clothing.

Ah, I'd like to think these missions will be more...accommodating in the future. Something at least most of us can make sense of.

I think what I'm anticipating most is the possibility of animosity forming within our little groups. These missions can only go for so long...

Realistic thinking. I can't say I've ever been in a situation quite like this before, so I can't speak from experience. [he's just been in a situation kind of like this...!

I think it will probably be the hardest on them in the future... Especially the ones who won't even bother planning for the possibility of things going awry.
