How cute. My best suits are orange.
[but he...doesn’t sound amused. No, the voice over this feed doesn’t sound amused at all. Yet as hard and stoic as it sounds, you can sort of hint that he might be smiling. or smirking. Or an uncanny combination of the two. He DID pitch a fit earlier, but that was when no one....was around..and was looking BUT!!...something hard lands next to his phone- it makes a thunk! sound]
A classic, really! I wasn’t counting on many of us -or anyone I knew- to take these missions seriously, but. Aha, did you ever.
[LIKE HE’S ONE TO TALK.]
Either way. I hope you’re happy. [A sigh....and a last sound, a loud rrrrrriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiip--]

He looks towards the door. Elijah feels a surge- a welling up in him the minute he hears Meredith's muffled voice on the other side. Grabbing the remains of his suit, he walks over and swings the door open. He doesn't need to think twice.]
Meredith. [Elijah INHALES SHARPLY and displays the suit for Meredith to see. Now that Meredith is here Elijah can....well throw another fit. An EVEN BETTER fit. ] Do you see this? Do you know what it is?
Ruined! [And he drops the suit into Meredith's unwaiting arms and stalks off into the room again.] Out of all the cowardly, elementary, fickle things-
no subject
Meredith watches Elijah briefly, quietly, just listening while he weighs the orange fabric in his hands as if that would tell him exactly what happened (or who did it). Meredith knows better than to interrupt, so he waits until Elijah is done before he finally asks, ]
How many are like this? And why is it torn... [ He doesn’t blame Elijah for being upset, but Meredith isn’t exactly impressed when he spies the torn sleeve in the trash can. ]
