I've been thinking about some things, and it's come to my attention that we are - more or less - here to make everyone else unhappy. That sort of thing is usually frowned upon, isn't it? There are some new people that have arrived as well. So I'd like to ask you all, new or old:

Why are you here?

Why is everyone so willing to cause others misery for their own personal gain? What would make doing this sort of thing reasonable? Aren't we all just being selfish?

I'm sorry if this is intruding. This is probably a little bit hypocritical, but I'm asking out of personal interest. Please don't feel obliged to answer.

It is what it is--personal gain, and that alone is a reasonable decision. Without realizing it, you answered your own question. But selfish? Honestly... is using someone to further yourself really so bad? Your altruism isn't meant to work here, unless you plan on sacrificing yourself for other people's happiness.

If you still don't agree with it, what are you doing to change it? Nothing? That's what I thought... Did you really plan to convince others to change their minds with an anonymous text to everyone here?

After some things happened, I guess there just wasn't anything else to do. [Liar liar pants on fire, but who's checking]

Because there's no such thing as a free vacation.

If I knew that it would be like this then I never would have signed up. As soon as I pay off my loan I'm going to leave.

I'm here because I lost my job. I know it doesn't sound like much but it was important. If I can get tricked by things like this again, maybe I don't deserve it though.

I can't say that I disagree with you. I suppose it's a bit of a moral conflict when you put it like that. There are some more willing than others to victimize people-- I just wanted to see why that was. Maybe I should have worded it differently.

But.. I wasn't really planning on changing people's minds. Blind optimism doesn't get you far.

I don't think knowing someone well enough would matter. We can't trust anyone here - we're all here to attack one another for our own 'happiness' - right?

[ Mikado's not, but he's pretty sure people don't do this sort of thing for fun. Not completely sure, but pretty sure-- he doesn't know the entirety of the human population and what they find enjoyable. Y'know. ]

I made a few mistakes. It's.. nothing important, if you need to know. I was only asking out of curiosity-- you didn't have to answer my question.

You're just complaining.

You and everyone else will just be forced to comply to the very system you feel is corrupt if you don't make a difference.

[ Aoba knows that it's no use to change anything about the current setup. But, he's willing to see what this person will do, who seemed to retreat his earlier staunch position in favor of being more ambiguous. ]

One person alone can't and won't do a thing.

Strength in numbers is key for a strategy like that-- but even then, who's to say a revolt will be successful?
