I've been thinking about some things, and it's come to my attention that we are - more or less - here to make everyone else unhappy. That sort of thing is usually frowned upon, isn't it? There are some new people that have arrived as well. So I'd like to ask you all, new or old:
Why are you here?
Why is everyone so willing to cause others misery for their own personal gain? What would make doing this sort of thing reasonable? Aren't we all just being selfish?
I'm sorry if this is intruding. This is probably a little bit hypocritical, but I'm asking out of personal interest. Please don't feel obliged to answer.
Thank you for your time.

You and everyone else will just be forced to comply to the very system you feel is corrupt if you don't make a difference.
[ Aoba knows that it's no use to change anything about the current setup. But, he's willing to see what this person will do, who seemed to retreat his earlier staunch position in favor of being more ambiguous. ]

Strength in numbers is key for a strategy like that-- but even then, who's to say a revolt will be successful?
[ text (anonymous) ]
Who knows? Not even you can predict what's to happen.
Maybe everything will continue how it is, and you will be the only one left behind thinking about what's truly right and just.

It's a move that takes a considerable amount of thought and deliberation before doing so, but he discards anonymity momentarily to defend his morals. ]
Who is this?
[ text (anonymous -> private) ]
Sorry Latvia.Looks like he even came out of anon for this too... How virtuous of his senpai. The whole conversation was no longer a game anymore, huh? He'd like it to go on, but there was no use anymore.Even though the arrival of the message was probably delayed due to laughing, the words that'll show up on Mikado's JoyPhone will undoubtedly make his heart sink a little. ]
Hello, my Captain☆!
[ text (private) ]
'Making his heart sink' is certainly one way to put it, but Aoba has done much, much more than that. He's managed to send Mikado into a full blown frenzy-- and with three little words. What a devious little boy you are, Aoba. ]
Aoba-ku n
[ Look, he's so panicky, he can't even punctuate his exclamation and fix his typos. ]
Aoba-kun, what are you--
Why are you here..?!
[ text (private) ]
[ Oh he sees that you are having trouble... ]
Come on, you should be more happy that your kouhai is here...!
[ text (private) ] aoba earns his first 50 points, and mikado goes into the negatives (+50 for aoba)
Why did you
[ Mikado is still shocked-- if that's not blatantly obvious at the moment. He didn't even get to finish his sentence! ]
[ text (private) ] poor mikado... but not really
Senpai... that's shameless.
[ text (private) ] wow shut up you're going to end up giving him those points anyway
That's not a proper explanation.. [ It looks like Mikado has regained his ability to properly type for the most part. ] What do you want with me..?
[ text (private) ]
If you want me to leave... then I'll do it. I'll do my best to raise as many points in order to buy a ticket out.
[ Do you feel guilty yet Mikado? All he's meant to do is follow your every whim...!!! ]
[ text (private) ]
Should he or shouldn't he exploit what control he's been presented with? He's been through this situation before. He knows how to deal with Aoba.
So why is he still hesitant? ]
Eh..
Aoba-kun, there's no point to it-- so.. um, forget the contract while we are here. I have no use of you, and you have no use of me.
[ text (private) ]
Did Mikado really have a change of heart? Was this Mikado's own reason why he retreated here? Funny, Aoba thought, but this time he wasn't laughing. ]
...What you're saying is... You're useless?
[ text (private) ] why don't you just take all of the fucking points (+10 this time around)
[ It takes a while for Mikado to let everything settle before making sense of everything. There are at least fifty different alarms blaring at the back of his mind-- his gut is telling him to worm his way out of this situation while he still can. The longer he talks to Aoba, the more trouble he's bound to get himself into. He knows this-- so why does Mikado continue to bother himself with this? ]
What makes you think that I can accept this..?
[ text (private) ] this is just over text messages too omfg
[ But Aoba can see why he'd want to postpone their agreement--but to forget about it entirely? That's like pretending nothing happened, and it irked him. Aoba wondered... if Mikado needed a reminder. A push.
Mikado was no saint, and he knew this firsthand. ]
But it's fine, Mikado-senpai. I'll forget all about it☆!
[ text (private), 1/2 ]
That almost makes him want to throw up. Does that mean that Aoba remembers the trouble with Adabashi? Or, at the very least, a part of it? ]
[ text (private), 2/2 ]
[ Don't worry. Mikado's fallen for it-- hook, line and sinker. ]
If I can-- I'd like to talk to you about this..
In person.
