EH, REALLY? Why?! Things are real messed up, but we're all still here.

I have! They're pretty unpleasant people.

Weapons would be the reason for that, though. With the kind of nuclear capabilities the world currently possesses, entire countries could be wiped off of the map in seconds if another world war broke out.

[gatto]

If they're all like the prince, they've GOTTA be! I don't know what I'd do if I had to deal with more than one of him!!

OH! That sounds really bad!! I don't know. The weapons did make it so we can't live in some places anymore. But I guess we just didn't lose that many people! Maybe it's cause the war kind of ended before everyone expected.

It would be tiresome, I think. I haven't had to deal with more than one or two at a time, thankfully.

If you take "a few uninhabitable areas" and stretch it out across entire continents, that's what most people picture when a third world war is brought up. But what brought the war to a close so soon? Or were people just assuming it would last a long time?

[gatto]

I don't know about tiresome. They'd probably just drive you crazy too!!

I guess we're pretty lucky we're not all dead then, huh? I guess they just thought it'd last longer. Japan was still working on getting even more soldiers, you know! And then it all just...

I don't know about that... Maybe if someone's tolerance was really low to begin with. [who is he kidding, he's seen crazy spread like wildfire on multiple occasions.]

That is pretty lucky, though.If there is a world war 3 ahead of us, most people would be pleased to know the planet is still standing afterward.

But they're REALLY annoying!! [Look who's talking.] I don't know if any kind of tolerance would help with THAT!

I told you, it's real messed up, but the PLANET did survive! It just sounds kind of weird to worry about that after the war.

Well you would never really know until you gave it a try yourself, right? [Excellent Ideas 101]

I guess it's a privilege only those who haven't been through the war itself have... Worrying about consequences that may or may not come to pass is a general hobby of humanity, I think.

Nah! I've already got the stupid prince bothering me!! [The most excellent of the excellent ideas.]

It's kind of weird, don't you think? You can't just get all shaken up every time you think something bad might happen.

[outfoxing]

Ah, that's right. Are you staying in the same room? [now that would be a comedic trainwreck in the making]

I don't see much point in it personally, but it would be difficult to convince most people of that.

No way!! I don't think I'd ever even SLEEP in that room if we were! [No, they just burst into each other's rooms.]

I guess it's like you said before. They just need the EXPERIENCE!

If he's already managed to ruin some of your personal belongings, a little wariness is understandable. [or, you know, excessive amounts of wariness and plastic bags for the rest of his shoes]

More or less! But I don't think anyone would trade worry in for an actual disaster.

[Well, that was partially his own fault, but he's not mentioning that...] Yeah, yeah, you're right! I'm not really WORRIED cause of him, but I don't wanna be around him anyway!!

If he gives you any more trouble you could always get your hands on his shoes, right? [encouraging cycles of revenge aw yeah Rin's landed himself an A+ counselor.]

I would say it might end some of the more pointless complaining, but people will always find reasons to complain, I think.

[gatto]

Why just his shoes?? There's a lot of other things I could do, you know! [Just his kind of counselor, awwyeeaah.]

Some people probably just like complaining!

True! In the end, it might be best to avoid his shoes entirely. It could be easily pinned on you as a crime of revenge if you did that, wouldn't it? [kudou why]

Some find it cathartic, I'm sure. There's really no end to the strange things people find comforting.

But I don't care if he finds out!! He knows I'm gonna get REVENGE anyway!

I guess people can just be real weird, yeah? [Hypocrite, he loves to complain.]

Oh, have you already said that to him? [in his head he is thinking something along the lines of but why though. rule one, never show your hand to a target!! gosh, is he gonna have to teach some stealth revenge tactics now.]

That seems to be the case! I think things would be very boring if they weren't.

Yep~! It wouldn't be as fun any other way, you know. And he got me, so he knows I'm gonna get him back! [some self-preservation tactics would probably help too!]

Maybe you're~ right~ It's better than being boring.

Good luck to you then, in that case. [he'll be looking forward to a very blatant and ongoing prank war of increasing volatility!!]

It would be easier, probably! But that can lend itself to being boring, too. Ah, well. I don't think we'll have to worry about something like that with the mix of people here.

Nope! Everyone's real interesting here. Especially cause we're competing against each other, yeah?

I'm sure it'll be something really memorable, in that case.

But that's true! A little competition definitely helps in keeping this place lively and refreshing.

That's right. And I don't think any of us really knows what to expect from the rest~

I'll be waiting! [and quietly cheering him on the whole way because he hasn't seen any acts of vengeance so far and that is clearly unacceptable.]

That's part of what makes it so exciting, right? ...Well, I guess people's personalities and levels of desperation are starting to show a little bit, based on the people going for higher level tasks and the ones taking out loans.
