Has anyone been able to get into the RECOVERjoy headquarters in the centre of the city?

I couldn't get near it, there was some kind of force-field.

Also, does anyone know anything about the company running this operation?

Don't you think it's suspicious that it's so heavily guarded?

I would have expected guards, but that force field is much more advanced than any technology where I'm from.

There's a weird shop about getting powers, and another that sells guns. I don't get it, but it could be to avoid problems from those.

Not sure, exactly. It doesnt really make sense and I didn't go in to know more.

This is unlike anything I've ever seen before. Just how far into the future is this place supposed to be? Unless it runs on some kind of top secret alien technology...

Nope. They're being real stingy about letting us know anything!

But they've gotta be real impressive, yeah?

I suppose so.

But I'm worried about the fact there's no way to get an audience with those in charge. Normally that's a very bad sign if they don't give you a way to voice your opinions.

Huh? You think so?

I don't know, it's not so weird that they won't let us talk to them. They probably don't want us to find out how they do everything!

From experience, it's no good if they don't allow you any kind of voice.

They probably have motives they know will upset people. That's probably why they're so secretive.

I guess so. It doesn't really bother me.

But they probably do! They've promised us loads of things, but it still wouldn't be real smart to trust them too much, you know.

Are you trying to find out what shady things they're doing?

I just don't understand how they can promise everyone happiness while making so many people miserable. It just feels like a scam and I feel stupid for even trusting them in the first place.

Me too, I don't like how secretive they're being. I feel like we're just all here for their entertainment.

The constant theme of happiness seems very patronizing, especially since we're supposed to be causing other people grief.

Points get automatically added or deducted on completing missions or taking them from other people. We don't go anywhere to collect them or tell anyone what we've done. So... how would they know?

Ah, you're right. All of that is more than a little alarming.

Still, what you just said... It makes me feel like they could be watching us as if we were a TV show or something.

I only just thought about the fact that they could be watching though, so I really hope that I'm wrong.
