[FIRST there is nothing but irritable drumming of fingers on something or other, maybe a table. That lasts a little while, before it abruptly stops, as Yotsuya loses his composure and scrapes his fingernails on whatever surface it is--it sounds pretty awful, you're welcome.

He makes a sharp noise of frustration, and then,]

Are these phones waterproof? Mine has paint all over the screen.

[He can't! see! shit! This is the absolute worst although if anyone were to see it he did scrape a little spooky spider design in the paint with a thumbnail, so what.

A pause, then, much more casually:] Oh, Prince. Can I still have those robots? I'll give you food, I have a lot.

[HE'S STANDING IN THE KITCHEN SCRUTINIZING THE SINK and his phone. To stick it under water or not to stick it under water, that is the question. Maybe if he had a wet cloth.... (He also might still be a little orange around the edges, paint is hard to get out.)

There are also a couple snacks on the counter next to him because he feeds Bel, but you don't want them they're poisoned. Unless you do.]

[And here goes any semblance of having a peaceful Sunday afternoon as the so-far meek and quiet Tomoko Oashi suddenly becomes not so meek and quiet.]

WHAT KIND OF PERSON DYES UNDERWEAR ORANGE?! YOU CAN'T JUST GO AROUND TAKING OTHER PEOPLE'S UNDERWEAR! I-IT'S WRONG! WHOEVER DID THIS...

[If you're out and about today around the city, and happen to turn the corner onto a certain street, you have the misfortune of running into the city-famous prince. But today is an unusual day, given that he isn't giving the warning siren of giggles or flashing that Cheshire cat smile, but instead is scowling, hunched over and looking more than a little pouty.]

[He sees you, and storms up like you owe him money. Surprisingly, no knives are coming out this time.]

You- Have you seen Mammon?

[He expects an answer, and now. Never mind if you don't know who that is, you should know his location!!!]

[Option 2: Text]

Mammon is missing. If any of you took him away to anger the prince, I'll slit your throat.

[ SIDE A ♫ ACTION ]

[ All things considered, it had been way too easy to steal Joshua's suitcase. After all, he'd pretty much just waltzed into the guy's room ( he'd been a little surprised to find the door left unlocked ), snagged his suitcase ( which had helpfully been left sitting on the end of the bed ), and then waltzed back out.

So, if any characters happen to be out and about in Joywick, they might spot Neku dragging the suitcase off the street and into the laundromat! Once he's got it safely inside, he crouches down in front of it and takes a second to look it over for any obvious signs that this is some kind of... trap. After all, nothing that has to do with Joshua is ever this easy, right? ... but the desire for points ( and to turn Joshua's clothes a lovely shade of orange! ) wins out over that nagging voice of common sense, so Neku uses his thumbs to flip up the latches of the suitcase and then pushes it all the way open.

-- And by the time he catches a glimpse of what's inside, it's way, way, way too late. ]

Crap--! [ There's a click as the spring-loaded trap inside snaps forward, and Neku barely even has time to squeeze his eyes shut and clasp a protective hand over his MP3 player before the booby trap inside the suitcase proceeds to douse him with a healthy dose of orange paint. ]

. . .

[ Yep, Neku's just going to take a few minutes of defeated silence, here.

And then he's going to drag himself to his feet, trying his best to wipe the globs of orange paint away from his face as he kicks blindly at the suitcase on the floor and mutters something that sounds suspiciously like "Shoulda known, dammit." Congrats, Josh, you get an extra 50 points for the successful counter-prank. ]

[ An hour or so after the paint disaster, this text pops up on the network! ]

[Kon's outside the library, smoking at a computer he built immediately after arriving, staring up at the sky instead of the camera.] So this has all been surprisingly boring so far. I don't care about living in dorms, but playing violent games for points? That got old before high school. I'm more interested in the fact that we all understand each other. The language barrier? It doesn't exist and it should. We're all from different dimensions, right? Someone should definitely be speaking in clicks and grunts.

[He exhales a stream of smoke and rolls his eyes toward the camera.]

Anyway, I've noticed that a lot of the people here are eating takeout and then regretting it later. Would anybody be interested in cooking lessons? I mean, you'd have to be willing to bet that I'm not going to poison you and take your wallet, but look at what you've been eating. It might be worth the risk.

But you don't understand--

[ At the moment, Mikado is stuck at the grocery store. There's a little problem though-- he hasn't completed any missions, and in turn, he hasn't got any joypoints. That's going to prove to be a problem. Especially if he wants to at least scrape by on what minimal supplies he can get his hands on.

He'd been smart enough to assume that he'd be able to get by on what yen he had left in his wallet, but the cashier has rejected any and all negotiation on his part. At this rate, it doesn't look like he'll be scraping by on anything at all. ]

If I could just-- [ Nope. They're ruthless, Mikado. They won't make an exception for you.

He's desperate now. If you can lend him a hand, he'll be sure to pay you back in one way or another! ]

None of these missions seem interesting....I was gonna do the arcade one, but that's a waste of joypoints, and I'm not good at sports. I'm not hurting anyone either...


Maybe next week's missions will be easier?
